A sandpainting in two parts concerned with the recent (1996-97) revelations about Swiss - Nazi banking connections.
As realized in Nordhorn, Germany, for a group exhibition entitled "Topping Out", curated by Martin Kottering and Roland Nachtigäller. Other artists participating: Franz Ackermann; Rob Birza; Stephen Craig; Jessica Diamond; Friedhelm Falke; Katharina Grosse; Michel Majerus; Rupprecht Matthies.

An arrow of white sand near the flag points out to the larger second part in a separate room.

The Swiss flag icon is obvious but the larger sand work in the second room is difficult to decipher unless the viewpoint is a hundred feet directly above it. The 9000+ little piles of tinted sand compose a photo image:
