SUCCESS!
At 6:00PM (PDT) on June 30th, the finest Kickstarter Project yet conceived ended with a rousing success!
If we include the several
contributions made by people who didn't want to go through the
Kickstarter / Amazon / credit card process, this campaign ended with 150% funding!
Many thanks to all of you who contributed. It's very gratifying and will make getting this book finished much, much easier.
I'm going to leave the link to the Kickstarter page intact for a while since it seems to still function correctly and that video is worth a look.
There are still lots of the rewards left and if you would like to take advantage of the remarkable possibilty of getting some of my work from the Morris Graves exhibition at very affordable prices,
don't hesitate. I'm still willing to consider it a contribution to the project and still willing to ship things.
All of the "End of the Sun" paintings are spoken for (at the $1000 level) but almost all of the ceiling panels are still available. $500... what a deal! There is also a lot of that beautiful faux fur (in 1 square yard sections) out in the barn looking for a new home.

The LADY-FAME project on
If you choose to pledge to my Kickstarter Campaign, here are the rewards available for different levels of support:
A pledge of $10 (or more) will get you:
A .pdf of the finished book. This .pdf file will be the same digital file sent to the printers for the "print-on-demand" copies of the book. Readable on iPads and Kindles, with a little help, it will also look great in the free Adobe Reader program.
Plus! for that same $10, I'll send you a certificate/banknote. Individually numbered and hand signed, they’re like a little print. Same size and feel of money. And they have a hologram. These were created for the recent "Exhibition at the End of Time, at the End of the World".
A pledge of $25 (or more) will get you:
A .pdf of the completed book . Plus! a certificate/banknote (as described above). And!... and a printed paperback (9” x 6”) copy of the completed book (signed by me!). You can use the certificate as a bookmark. The cover of the book should look very much like this:
A pledge of $50 (or more) will get you:
A .pdf file of the completed book, "LADY-FAME" plus a paperback (9” x 6”) printed copy of the completed book (signed). Plus a 13” x 19” print of the layout of “The End of History”. Several of these were exhibited in my recent "Exhibition at the End of Time, at the End of the World" at the Morris Graves Museum of Art. A pledge of $75 (or more) will get you:
A .pdf file of the completed book, "LADY-FAME" plus a paperback (9” x 6”) printed copy of the completed book (signed). Plus a 1 square yard piece of the faux fur floor painting: “The End of the World, 1968-2012 (fur)”. This is a section of the actual floor painting as displayed (and walked on) in the Rotunda of the Morris Graves Museum of Art. The faux fur is in perfect shape and very clean as visitors were required to either remove their shoes or don little blue booties before walking on it.

A .pdf file of the completed book, "LADY-FAME" plus two (2) paperback (9” x 6”) printed copies of the completed book. Signed by the author. Yes! Two! One for you and one for a friend. Plus a copy of the hardcover book version. There are a few places where I can get real hardcover copies created. This was my original vision... with a beautiful dust jacket, nicely bound, etc... also signed by the author
Bigger and harder than the paperback.

A .pdf file of the completed book, "LADY-FAME" plus a paperback (9” x 6”) printed copy of the completed book. Signed by the author. Plus your choice of one of the ten “End of Me” photographs of my finger tips. These are 24" x 20" overall, black wood frames, with a 19" x 13" color image, properly matted under glass and signed by the artist.

A pledge of $500 (or more) will get you:
A .pdf file of the completed book, "LADY-FAME", plus a paperback (9” x 6”) printed copy of the completed book, signed by the author. Plus your choice of one of the 33 available name panels that made up the floating ceiling painting “The End of History” as displayed in the Morris Graves Museum of Art. These 2’ x 8’ dense foam panels are 2" thick, carved with the name of an influential artist and coated with a Portland cement/acrylic polymer resin layer to mimic the look of cast concrete.

There are 33 of these available. 34 were made. The panel "ROBERT MORRIS" was not displayed but was kept just in case of a problem with one of the others.
The panel "MORRIS GRAVES" has become part of the permanent museum collection and is no longer available.
The panel "JASPER JOHNS" has been spoken for as a Kickstarter Reward for a pledge of $500.
